Because she's my friend. I don't care if she's dumb as long as she likes me. I'd never want to change her to suit how I would want her to be. Anyways, she's perfect like this.

Friend as in someone you trust a lot and feel happy or generally good about hanging out with them. You want to spend your time with them.

Is that a clear definition? [Giving a few pats to the cow's neck:] She's still my friend, even if she's just an animal.

Of course she is. [On that note, a native ends up stepping out of the house next to the little barn with a bucket of corn and grain in one hand. When he spots ???, he waves a few times while his appearance seems to distract the cow. Obviously it's food time, so with a blink at ???, she moves towards the gate that the man is headed towards.]

Well, looks like it's time to go. [Short-lived, but he knows he can always see her another day.] Going back to the store, Draco?

[Draco's just watching the native now, curious if he's actually responding to ??? or to the cow. As the cow pulls away and ??? asks the question though he blinks suddenly.] Not sure yet. Where are you going?

Probably someplace to work on my research. [And since he's not exactly inviting Draco, he's already moving away from the railing to head towards the nearest place that he's marked with a portal.]

[wasthemaster]

[Too bad Draco's going to follow right along.] What research today?

A trap. [Sob, why. ??? actually turns his head to give Draco a dry look.]

[A shrug.] Nothing else to do really.

................... [Yeah, this is weird and he's not liking it. Which is why ??? immediately stops in his tracks to think for a second before walking off in the opposite direction.]

Alright, then change of plans. If you got nothing to do, let's talk for a little bit.

[Talking. Talking usually isn't a good option for Draco Malfoy but he's going to go ahead and follow anyway.] About?
