Maybe, but I still get a human body. Even if that does sound creepy. [There's also some other theories he has in mind, but ??? doesn't really feel like explaining that this is something to look forward to in the future. Except lacking on the conscious side of things. It's just as worrying as it is nice that he has a real body.]

No, I don't think it is. You get to experience some nice things like this, anyone in your situation would feel the same way.

[She gives him a small smile before her expression turns more serious.]

I want to talk to you about Pyro. And - I don't want you thinking so lowly of me because of him. [Her voice grows more awkward as she rubs the back of her head.] I guess this is me trying to convince you to think differently. I know I'm not very good at being persuasive, but... I don't want our friendship dying because of this.

[There's almost an immediate twitch to ???'s mouth while his hands turn into fists against his lap. Yes, it would be about this. As much as it's a relief that she doesn't want their friendship to break, ??? also doesn't think she gets the big picture. And that's what bothers him the most.]

What if he does more than just talk? What are you going to do if he tries to attack the gods or the city to try and defy them?

[She sighs heavily, running her hands through her hair. This is further complicated by Sam and Eridan's plans for a weapon that can kill a god....]

I don't know. I don't like the gods at all, but I don't want to see him or anyone else get hurt.

I don't like them either, but I'm not going to sabotage the fate of our worlds over petty revenge or being too fucking stubborn to adapt. And the last thing I want is to have to listen to anyone getting hurt or killed if he does do something stupid. Natives don't revive...

[Gritting his teeth, frustration is way too obvious in his voice. Even he's done horrible things to the natives that he now has the ability to regret.]

I just don't get how you could support someone like that. When all our worlds and futures are on the line.

It's - it's complicated, okay?? I know he isn't going to run off to the other side, and I know what it's like to feel so strongly about something that you're willing to do incredibly stupid things.

[She's shaking her head.]

I don't want him hurting any of our worlds. But... sometimes I'm not even sure the gods are being truthful about that. I don't want to take any chances, but I don't think he believes them at all.

[???'s done so many stupid things that he's not even going to comment on that.]

I don't CARE if he believes them or not. I don't care if you don't either. But if there's even the slightest chance that the worlds are in danger, I'm not going to turn my back on it. And no one should endanger that by being selfish, okay? It's not right.

It isn't. [She nods a little, thinking about her own world. Kaz is back there, even if he doesn't remember her, and her mother....]

...Fine. [That's...much better. Better knowing that Euri won't completely tolerate everything Pyro does. He's even able to relax a little more and his shoulders end up sagging as some of his irritation fades away.]

But whether you like it or not, I'm going to teach him a lesson if I ever find out that he's killed any natives without a good reason. I'm not going to hold back either.

[She watches him quietly for a few moments, before scooting closer and wrapping an arm around his shoulders.]

Just - don't kill him. He does a lot of stupid things, but I don't want to see you lowering yourself to that.

No, I wouldn't, but I'll beat the crap out of him until he learns better. Death is too easy for us here anyways.

[Unless Draco has to say otherwise. In fact, ??? is almost certain it's harder for people to watch other Travelers they care about die than the Traveler actually experiencing death.

I'd be happy to do that any day. [Because seriously, Pyro really rubs him the wrong way. But hugs are doable, although he's not exactly returning it. He doesn't exactly feel in the huggy mood still, but he's in better spirits.]

[She can't help giggling at that. Who knows, maybe Pyro and ??? will be able to keep each other in check somehow.]

Good. It's one thing to hate the gods, but hurting people who have nothing to do with them isn't acceptable.

Yeah, probably. I know there wouldn't be many people who would like a bunch of strangers showing up out of nowhere to 'help' back home....
