[There's a lot of guilt coupled with seeing his name. He wants to throw things and break something, and generally vent some sudden realizations and feelings that may or may not lead to hunting down Vanitas.

He promised he wouldn't though, and he remains seated on his bed as his shoulders shake slightly from the anger and guilt.]

So he attacked Roxas because of me. [...He's not surprised though.]

How much damage did he do?

Not much. He stabbed Roxas in the arm but it's been taken are of.

That's good. [But it shouldn't have happened in the first place.]

He didn't hurt you too, did he? [He can't guarantee he won't go on a hunt if Vanitas did.]

It wasn't too hard to fix. I was glad.




Not really. [Getting assaulted by ravens wasn't any fun but what little actual damage there was to her arms was easily patched up.]

[The 'not really' is a little unexpected...considering it's Vanitas, but it makes sense if he was just trying to pass a message through Roxas.]

Alright. [He's not sure what else to do besides sit still and be angry. It's not like he can go talk to Roxas for a real conversation.] I'll wait to see if this is a different Roxas or a curse first.

[She might be downplaying it a little, but really, things could have been so very much worse.]


What will you do? Either way I mean.

Not sure. Laying low might be a good idea, but I won't do it if it means him going after Roxas again.

[He doesn't like the idea of laying low either. He wants to hunt down Vanitas for hurting his original, even if it means giving him what he wants.]

I understand.

I agree. I think that would be for the best.

[Well, all the more reason to encourage him to keep his patience, then.]

Trying to take revenge would probably only make things worse.

Right. [But it's sooooooo tempting.]

Do you and Roxas discuss things about him very often?

About Vanitas? Not recently. [Though, he's pretty sure it was thanks to his little experiment that brought this on.]

[...] Yes. That's normally a reoccurring topic between us.

Even things about his time before Asgard? [... Is what she's really getting at.]

He just recently found out about Sora. I'm not sure from who exactly, but I'm less inclined to think it was Sora himself. [Considering the little...discussion they had.]

We were going to talk more after the water disappeared, but...

That makes sense. He knows now it's not a good idea to do things like that without thinking them over first. [And she has a pretty complete suspect list, besides. She takes a moment to absorb that, then,]



What were you going to tell him?

I could tell him a lot, but it all depends on what he wants to know and how much he's hurting.

If it were necessary.

I think his time here doesn't need to be ruined by worrying about his fate. I've been trying to break things slowly to him, but every time he finds out more, he continues to doubt himself. [Which...is sort of routine, but he doesn't like seeing it and remembering.]

I don't want him to hurt himself here. I'll tell him what fills in the blanks that he knows about, but I'm going to buffer that knowledge too. [And withhold some of the more hurtful memories before the digital Twilight Town.]

If you think that's what's best. I know you'll do what you can to help him. You seem to have everything under control. [Inasmuch as such a thing can be controlled.]

[The fact that Namine seems to believe in what he wants for Roxas is a huge relief for ???. For a moment, he can forget his guilt and anger, and just...breathe. He knows the role he's playing is difficult, and there's worry that he really doesn't have things under control. Roxas never had control, so how could he?

But for now, he could and would have to be patient.]
